mood.
Updates:
ULRC:
Bruce Schroeder

in the folder.
Davalee Miller

Mentor Academy. ULRC people are doing site visits this month. She said they
were enjoying the visits to the school districts.
Jerry Christensen

He said they were on schedule. He said they were still taking calls for
more presenters. Registration will be out in January for the conference.
He also told about Edu-Quiz on computer web site (www.ulrc.org).
The winner for November was John Killoran from Oregon.
PARENT CENTER:
Helen Post thanked people for getting their call for
presenters forms out for their parent conference in March. She attended
training by OSEP for parent centers across the country. At that conference
they received a training manual based on the statutes of IDEA. Discussion
followed on how many would like copy of this manual and how to make that
happen (manuals are $175 each). ULRC/State will pay half the cost and districts
will pay the other half with the ULRC handling orders and distribution.
District representatives had an opportunity during the meeting to sign up
for one or more manuals. (A week after the meeting it was decided that enough
copies would be purchased for each agency to have one with additional copies
available at half the $175 cost.) Contact the ULRC for ordering information.
