Suraj Syal

Suraj holds an M.S. degree in Special Education from Brigham Young University, an ESL endorsement from Southern Utah University, and certificates of completion in UMTA, VOICES, SIOP®, Crucial Confrontations® and Influencer®. During his 12-year career in Provo School District, he was employed as a special educator, district technology specialist, and school coordinator of special education services. For the past eight years he has been employed as a program specialist and coordinator at the UPDC. His interests and expertise include infusing technology as a tool to invite engagement and active learning, professional development, English language learners with mild/moderate disabilities, and leadership that is intentional and prepared to instruct students of the 21st Century.
