Prior to coming to the UPDC in September 2003, I worked as web and multimedia/technology specialist for Dr. Alan Hofmeister and the Center for Persons with Disabilities at Utah State University. While working with Dr. Hofmeister, I earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Information Systems. I have worked on many notable projects including: The Reading for All Learners Program, Elementary Earth Science DVD series (Science for All Learners), Math Mastery DVD program, and the Utah Students At Risk Online Staff Development Academy.
At the UPDC I have been charged with handling various technology related responsibilities including: conference support, IT systems management, UPDC technology support, web content delivery, distance education & professional development, and instructional design (using instructional technologies).
I am currently working on a masters degree in Instructional Technology & Learning Sciences through Utah State University as well.
Away from work, I enjoy: hanging out with my family, hiking to the tops of peaks (or bagging peaks), fishing, biking, geneology research and geeking out with technology gadgets.
